About Us

GridGirls opened its doors to Australia in 2007. In the first few weeks, there was talk about its success due to so much competition. Rein Blunt, the director and creator of GridGirls, decided to collaborate with other businesses in its industry rather than trying to fight for clients alongside them. Through years of networking, GridGirls built a reputation that provided not just promotional staff, but a quality of service, above all others.

How did he do it? Well that is a secret many want to know. Sadly, it is one that he is not willing to share. But you can be assured that whatever wild ideas Rein has in his head, they are working for all his clients and their businesses!

The concept of creating a “Map of Australia” on the GridGirls website was introduced in early 2009. Allowing clients to simply click on the state/territory they were holding the event in, and then having reams of available girls pour onto your web browser. This made browsing for promotional models quicker and more user friendly. Saving time, clients were able to book promotional staff for their events in minutes, rather than running back and forth with phone calls and emails trying to finalise planning of the promo staff.  This allowed GridGirls to do all that work for you.

GridGirls continues to grow in 2010 and our newest addition to the GridGirls family is the GridGirls transporter, “GG” (like Gee-Gee). This V6, 3.5 litre monster holds up to 8 passengers and transports all of our Sydney models to their events in style. In the belly of the beast sits almost 2000 watts of pure adrenalin pumping sound, proudly powered and sponsored by one of GridGirls’ clients, Fusion.  To add that little extra touch of class, the Sydney branch transports promo staff to and from its events, ensuring our girls are always on time.
